I do agree with that attitude. I agree with Josiah Strong,he was concened about other people. And all the war going on has nothing to do with the backward peopl. So they should'nt be affected,and left with no home. At least they deserve the blessing of civilization. I do agree with this attitude towards backwards people.I don't think that newspaper or now telvision can stir up much feeling thst it can create war. Because not everybody believes what they hear on T.V. Or stories in a newspaper.Sometimes they are false information,and the truth might be stretched. Have you seen what's going on in Egypt and Libya? In today's world, yes, the media can start a war. If it started a war in 1898 (the Spanish-American War), then what makes you think that there won't be one starting today with the Internet available to almost everyone?
